Goals - "The John Means Golf Junior Camp will evaluate, instruct and improve the individual skills of each golfer who attends the camp. Our staff will make every effort to make each day a new learning experience for each individual." Whether the camper is a beginner or wishes to play high school or college golf, we can make your dreams come true.

"I believe that we will develop and improve each player while enhancing their basic knowledge and understanding of the game of golf."

Qualifications - The camp is open to boys and girls ages 8-18.

Facilities - Session I: White Eagle Golf Course and Learning Center and the University of Wisconsin-River Falls dormitories will host, lodge and feed the camp golfers Participants are paired, two to a room and meals are provided with big appetites in mind. All golf instruction will take place at White Eagle Golf Course in Hudson.

Session II: Wild Ridge and Mill Run Golf Courses and the University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire dormitories will host, lodge and feed the camp golfers Participants are paired, two to a room and meals are provided with big appetites in mind. All golf instruction will take place at Wild Ridege and Mill Run Golf Courses in Eau Claire.

Camp Highlights - Film and guest lectures on rules, etiquette, equipment and use of the golf course. Each camper will take home a picture, camp shirt and analysis of his/her swing and game along with the memories that go with expert instruction and course competition. The week will include several different skills contests with awards and will conclude with a different tournament among participants in each age group.



Camp Rules
1. Each camper must bring his/her own clubs, shoes, shorts, and shirts. In addition, pillow, pillow case, towels, soap, and fan should be included in the list of items a camper should bring to the camp.

2. The first meal for residents will be served Sunday evening. Camp sessions will conclude immediately after the awards ceremony at 5:00 p.m. Thursday evening for all sessions.

3. All students who enroll will be required to attend all sessions and comply with all rules and regulations governing conduct of camp participants. Any violations or abuses of these rules and regulations will result in immediate dismissal without refund.

4. Pick-up/Drop-off arrangements can be made for those campers arriving via bus, airplane, or train for $15. Please contact two weeks prior to make transportation arrangements.

Cost
Residential Campers pay $595 - includes instruction, all meals, four nights lodging, shirt, and golf handbook.
Commuters pay $495 - includes instruction, lunch, shirt, and handbook. Commuter camp begins on Monday and runs daily from 8:00 am to 5:00 p.m.



Session I and Session II Advanced Space available, sign up now!
Session II will be divided into two separate camps. One camp is identical to Session I and will fill the needs of most players. Session II Advanced Camp is exclusively limited to golfers who are looking to take their game to the next level. Not only golf lessons and on course management instruction, but evening classes to include resume writing, tournament preparation, conditioning and advanced rules training. Session II Advanced includes playing with instructors and collegiate players.

Residential Campers in the advanced camp pay $695 - includes instruction, evening classes, lessons, course analysis, video, all meals, lodging, shirt and handbook.
Commuters in the advanced camp pay $625 - includes instruction, evening classes, playing lessions, course analysis, lunch, shirt, and handbook.

Balance for the camp is due June 1, 2008.

There will be FREE shuttle service for all commuters between Woodbury and White Eagle Golf Course throughout the camp.
